Writing a strategic plan requires a measured, methodical approach. This course, Creating Your Strategic Plan, applies a step-by-step, five-phase approach to strategic planning, utilizing a simplistic, precision model to fully create an effective action oriented plan.

Speaker(s): Presented by Colonel David R. McClean (Ret). Mr. McClean built a career in a variety of roles and industries, mostly in the Federal Government where he conceptualized, planned, and executed numerous multi-million dollar projects. Most of these projects were based in strategic and operational planning, process improvement (Lean Six Sigma), the development of policy, and workplace education and training curriculum/programs. His proven expertise as a leader, mentor, and facilitator for collaboration with all levels of an organizational hierarchy has significantly improved many organization’s bottom line. He is skilled in measuring, assessing, and guiding both individual and organizational knowledge needs by designing and implementing effective management principles and processes.
